Durham appoints new Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Global)

Durham University has appointed its first Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Global) following a competitive recruitment process. Professor Claire O’Malley, currently Vice Provost (Research and Knowledge Exchange) at the University of Nottingham Malaysia Campus, will take up her position on Monday 15 January, 2018. The post of Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Global) is a new addition to the University’s senior leadership team. Professor O’Malley will be responsible for the strategic leadership and implementation of the University’s international agenda, a key part of the University Strategy, 2017-2027.
