Workshop: Borderlines: Transgression and Social Culture in Europe, c. 1500–2000
29 November – 1 December 2017, Tübingen
This autumn Matariki partners Tübingen University and Uppsala University will organize a three-day PhD workshop on the theme “Borderlines: Transgressions and Social Culture in Europe, 1500-2000”. The workshop has been designed by Prof. Ewald Frie (Tübingen) and Ass. Prof. Mikael Alm (Uppsala), and will bring together five PhD students and two teaching fellows from each university, largely funded by Tübingen. Departing from the set theme, the students will interact and discuss empirical findings as well as theoretical frameworks and methodological choices.
