Global Citizens Fellowship

GLOBAL CITIZENS FELLOWSHIP

It is expected that the Matariki Global Citizens Fellowship eventually will provide an overarching framework of exchange opportunities for students and faculty to visit Matariki partners in order to explore questions of global citizenship in theory and practice. Exchange opportunities offered by partner institutions vary, but may involve:

  • community-based internships organised by the host centre
  • research relating to global citizenship and Programme strands [hyperlink]
  • developing a global citizenship curriculum
  • coursework offered by the host centre
  • participating in projects or activities of the host centre

The Fellowship will seek to provide a unique learning experience for students in an overseas environment, promote cooperation between the partnering institutions, and ways of developing the Matariki Global Citizenship Programme through joint projects.
