Professor Sylvie K. Chetty, currently Professor of Entrepreneurship at the University of Otago, has been appointed a new honorary doctor at the Faculty of Social Sciences, Uppsala University, in acknowledgment of her contribution to the study of entrepreneurship and internationalisation of small businesses, as well as her award-winning research on companies that have internationalised especially quickly. Professor Chetty is a much appreciated co-author and participant in common research projects and her positive, cooperative and competent presence at research seminars inspires enthusiasm in both younger and older researchers. The Conferment Ceremony will take place in Uppsala Cathedral on 27 January 2017.
